Jacqueline A. Hartley was born in Dorchester, MA in 1987 and grew up on the South Shore,

graduating from Carver High School in 2005. With parents from large families and long lines of

blue-collar workers, she understands the meaning of hard work and what it is like to use your

body to provide for your family. As a survivor of Hodgkin lymphoma, she knows firsthand the

uncertainty and stress of facing an unexpected medical diagnosis and the battle for the disability

benefits one deserves. Upon graduation from law school in 2013, she worked for Citizens

Disability for five years, representing clients nationwide in Social Security Disability claims.

Attorney Hartley continued to work after her cancer diagnosis and successfully completed

treatment in 2015 and 2016. In 2018, she joined the Law Offices of Nicole D. Sullivan &

Associates, P.C. as an associate attorney, where she expanded her practice from SSDI to

include Workers’ Compensation (injured worker claims), Disability Retirement (public sector

employees), and Short- and Long-Term Disability (private disability insurance claims and

appeals). She prides herself in handling this variety of injury and disability cases and providing

clients with comprehensive legal solutions at a time when they need it the most. Attorney

Hartley, her husband and their beloved rescue dog live in the Metrowest area and welcomed a

daughter in spring 2025. In 2026, Sullivan & Hartley, P.C. was born.

Outside the office, Attorney Hartley enjoys spending time with her husband, young daughter and

beloved rescue dog, Neely.
